jeromepedro I own a cleaning business and have been looking for something to get soap scum and grime out of pans and tubs for a long time. Sometimes stronger products help but never do the job 100%; this works every time.

shelly_hearts2000 My mom absolutely loves this stuff. She is an OCD cleaner and forever buys every product there is. She tried this the day she received it on stainless steel, glass, granite windows, tile you name it... it got sprayed. She was amazed as it did not leave any streaks on the stainless steel as she finds that is the toughest to clean. It smells great...no chemical smell as it is all natural.

Having interviewed so many people and having done so much research, I wanted to get in on the fun for myself.

And I wanted to tackle the following points that users were using Dr Clean for:

To start, I made one order of Dr Clean.

It came with a good number of tablets and its own spray bottle, which I thought was really considerate of the company.

The kitchen and bathroom have been at an all-time low since my schedule got even more hectic, so I had to ask…

Would Dr Clean really help in the way people claim it does? Well, we’ll find out soon enough.

The first thing I wanted to try it on was the stove (and then the oven). But mostly the stove.

My kids like to “cook” very often, and that means spilled food, burnt ingredients, grease stains, and just a whole lot more.

I wiped everything down with a dry towel just to get rid of any loose debris. Then I sprayed it all down with Dr Clean.

I waited a few minutes and watched it fizz. I noticed that some of the stuck-on burnt stuff had come loose and was sort of free floating on top of the liquid. Dr Clean had somehow gotten under it and had started fizzing up.

I wiped down the stove top again with a clean towel, and what do you know, all that crud that would have taken hours to scrub off, just slid right off. I mean just last month, it took me HOURS to scrub that stovetop clean!

And man, you should’ve seen my jaw hit the floor.

That would have quite literally taken me HOURS to scrape it all off.

But just like that, in seconds, it was all off.

So did it work with my stove? Definitely.

And my oven?

Well you tell me. I sprayed down my oven with gusto, given the success of the stove. My kids had once tried to bake "sugar walls" for a candy house. As a result, there was burnt sugar crusted onto the rack, the pan, the walls, etc etc.

I had neglected it for months because I was so intimidated by the prospect of having to chisel it all off. And I mean CHISEL. That stuff was crusted on their firm, and I had to borrow a chisel from my neighbor.

I sprayed down everything I could see with Dr Clean, waited ten minutes (I wanted to make double sure it worked), then wiped.

And, drumroll please…

Clean. All clean. I probably could have just waited a couple minutes, let alone ten!

All that junk came off like it wasn’t stuck there in the first place!

Pots and pans can be pretty hard to clean, after all, they’re exposed to direct fire. It’s a matter of when, not if, the cookware will get blackened with soot and charred bits.

But I mean, Dr Clean made short work of burnt sugar. BURNT SUGAR! Have you ever had to scrape burnt sugar off of anything?

If you have, then you know how STUBBORN it can be.

But Dr Clean did it. Dr Clean masterfully persuaded the most stubborn mess to come off that oven rack.

Of course, that's not all. It also took care of old grease stains, you know, the kind that just gets smeared around whenever you try to wipe it off.

So armed with Dr Clean, I went to town on the soot and grime on my pots and pants.

I was confident in Dr Clean at this point, but I was still a bit nervous. I mean, what if it was just a fluke the first time around, right? I mean with burnt sugar, it's still sugar, you know? Maybe it just helped dissolve some of the bits under the charred surface.

But thankfully, my fears were unfounded and I managed to clean everything off in just a few wipes. It was the same old combination:

Spray, wait, wipe.

It was incredible.

So there were two bathrooms I wanted to try this on. A full bath with a bathtub and a half bath with a shower. The bathtub had some mold issues, while the shower had issues with soap scum.

So the bathtub situation was a little different because of the grout. I wanted to get rid of the mold, but grout is porous.

Grout is like a solid sponge, so the mold goes INTO the grout and you can’t just wipe it off.

Anyways, I sprayed a whole bunch of Dr Clean in and around our bathtub and watched it fizz away into the grout.

I had my fingers crossed, but at this point, it was more like wishing for the mold to put up a fight. Dr Clean was on a winning streak, and it looked like he was gunning for the belt.

After a few minutes, I hosed down my grout lines with the shower head, and I watched as the black, pink, and green spots just melted away.

It took no more than five minutes in total for all the mold to disappear into the drain. This long-time menace that refused to go away, was finally gone.

As for the soap scum in the shower, I figured I could just spray Dr Clean and wipe it off like normal. There weren't any grout issues for this one since it was mostly concentrated on the floor of the shower pan.

And guess what? It barely even put up a fight. Dr Clean had loosened that sucker up so much, it was starting to peel on its own before I could even get to it with the shower head.

Once the shower head was turned on, all the soap scum sloughed off in sheets before going down the drain.

Dr Clean did in a few minutes what months and hours of cleaning could not do.

So of course I went to town on everything else in the bathroom, and within 15 minutes, everything was sparkling clean.

From the bathtub to the tiles, everything looked immaculate.

And while I was there, I figured I try and get the blood stain out of my kid’s shirt.

He tripped while running around at school and had a small booboo that dripped onto his shirt.

It was pretty dry so I wasn’t sure if it was going to work super well.

I sprayed Dr Clean, realized that the stain was getting lighter, then washed it out with some water and boom. Gone.

Dr Clean had lifted the blood stain off the shirt!

Boy, was I impressed!

Dr Clean is awesome. I felt like a huge pressure was lifted off my shoulders. I hadn’t been able to get so much cleaning done so fast in years.

I could finally say goodbye to all that grossness that had been accumulating for so long.

And the best part is, I didn’t have to pay anyone to clean it for me!

I was so so close to just hiring a professional cleaning company to do it for me, but instead, I ended up saving a couple hundred bucks!

I don’t know what else to say to be honest. It works (and extremely well at that), it’s affordable, and it’s perfectly safe around kids and pets.
